The role of the trustee is to manage and administer the trust in accordance with the terms of the trust deed, the Trust and Trustees Act and the Code of Conduct of Trustees after consultation with the Council Members, from whom he obtains direction when required to do so by the trust instrument.  The trustee is responsible for achieving the objectives of the Trust by utilising the Trust assets to best fulfil its charitable purpose.

Dr. Jan Sammut has accumulated over three decades of experience across multiple disciplines – finance, fiduciary, legal, education, counselling and clinical psychology.
