Skychair Trust was set up with the full collaboration of the European Pilot Academy, the longest established aviation training organisation in Malta, with the primary purpose of giving young people with special needs, as well as sick and underpriviliged children the extraordinary experience of flying from the cockpit of a real aircraft.  Children who participate in this programme are given the opportunity to fly in the co-pilot seat multiple times a year.
